Combined Revenues Grow 6.4%. Headcount increases by 10.2%
Baker Tilly global financial results for the year ended 31 December 2017 as a total combined fee income of US$3.4bn. This represents a year-on-year growth of 6.4% (5.7% using IAB exchange rates). Global headcount has increased by 10.2%, with 33,600 people now working out of 796 offices worldwide.

- Robust organic growth amongst our existing member firms – amongst others, we have seen a significant number of acquisitions in the US and key strategic partnerships forming in Europe. Headcount as a whole grew by more than 10% worldwide. Asia Pacific stands out as a region as a result of our members’ aggressive growth strategies: staff numbers here increased 21.7% in the last 12 months, including numerous lateral hires from the competition
- Optimising our geographic coverage – in 2017 our focus was on ensuring the best representation across our network. This led to membership changes in Hungary, Croatia and France. We continue to offer comprehensive worldwide coverage with 125 members operating out of 147 territories, ensuring we are where our clients need us to be.
- Building long-term relationships with clients – in 2017 our members came together to win some of the largest and most complex assignments we have ever been involved in. We also continued to enhance our ability to deliver superior client service across our service lines, each of which recorded strong growth.
